“The title means living free, enjoying life, good vibrations, and good energy. People tell me so many times that my music is soothing. One of my guys started calling me ‘Lavida Boy,’ so I built on that concept. Now, there’s even going to be a Lavida Festival! I just want to be that source of positivity.”
Joeboy also reflects on reuniting with his long-time collaborator, Tempoe, emphasizing their commitment to crafting fresh and unique sounds.
“We don’t get to work together all the time because Tempo travels a lot, but whenever we do, we always create something unique. We want people to say, ‘Wow, this is beautiful’—both from a hit song perspective and a quality perspective.”
A Fusion of Global Sounds
Joeboy shares how his travels have influenced his latest album, exposing him to diverse cultures and musical styles.
“I get to travel a lot, and I get influenced by different cultures. Even visiting India and hearing their music impacted my sound. I infused some of those elements into the project.”

“Stay strong! Don’t let problems overwhelm you or mess with your self-esteem. Everyone faces challenges, no matter how perfect they look online. If you can fix it, fix it. If not, just chill—and love yourself.”
