Youngsters, Kobby Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho, have teamed up quite brilliantly to win Manchester United the English FA Cup this season.

Two goals from them was enough to secure Manchester United the FA Cup over Manchester City, a result that’s so crucial for the Red Devils European football next season.

Garnacho opened the scoreline in the 30th minute and England international, Kobby Mainoo doubled the lead for United at Wembley Stadium just before the break in the 39th minute.

Belgium international, Jeremy Doku caused a scare for Erik Ten Hag’s side as he scored for Man City in the 87th minute, giving the Sky Blue some glamor of hope to make a comeback and wrap up their season with another title, having defended their Premier League title, making history in the process as being the first team to win the League four times in a row.

Both Garnacho and Mainoo were part of the Manchester United youth team that won the Youth FA Cup in 2022. And two years on, they produced a spectacular performance to help United – whose performance in the Premier League the in 2023/2024 Premier League was abysmal, finishing in 8th position for the first time in their Premier League history – win the prestigious title and secure a European football next season, precisely Europa League football.

The victory for Manchester United in the FA Cup final means Chelsea who finished fifth in the Premier will no longer play in the Europa League next season but rather the Conference League.
