AI Tool “Sauki” Revolutionizes Access to Public Health Research

Abuja, Nigeria – Corona Management Systems (CMS) has unveiled Sauki, a cutting-edge AI-powered platform designed to simplify complex mathematical modeling research for a wide range of audiences. From policymakers to journalists, this innovative tool aims to democratize access to public health insights, bridging the gap between academic and practical applications in decision-making.

The name Sauki, meaning “simple” or “easy” in Hausa, reflects its core purpose: making technical research accessible. With just a few clicks, users can upload public health papers, select their preferred briefing style, and generate summaries tailored to varying expertise levels—ranging from academic-focused insights to simplified briefs for the general public.

“In our ten years of work across Africa, we’ve seen how inaccessible information hampers policy impact and research progress,” said Don Aadum, Innovation Specialist at CMS. “Sauki empowers decision-makers—often non-experts—to make informed choices while fostering collaboration between public health and socioeconomic researchers.”

The tool is part of a broader movement to leverage AI in public health, which has already enhanced disease prevention, diagnostics, and early detection of health threats like COVID-19. CMS Managing Director, Chijioke Kaduru, emphasized Sauki’s importance in Africa’s health journey, stating, “Progress in addressing public health challenges depends on our understanding of these issues. Sauki ensures solutions are visible and accessible to everyone.”

Headquartered in Nigeria with offices across Africa and Canada, CMS remains committed to innovative health solutions. Sauki represents a bold step in integrating AI into public health, fostering collaboration, and driving impact across the continent.
