The Vice President of Zambia, Mutale Nalumango, has been involved in a plane crash.
She is however said to be safe and in good health after being involved in an aircraft incident during take-off in Nakonde District on Thursday morning.
Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa, said the Vice-President and the crew members were taken to Nakonde District Hospital for routine medical examinations and have since been discharged.
Mr. Kangwa told the media that Mrs. Nalumango is in good health.
He said the relevant authorities will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
