A Ghanaian spiritualist, Horlali Alatusa, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend.
Horlali, who is in his early 20s, allegedly murdered his girlfriend at Bentum in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region.
Ghanaian security personnel arrested him after a complaint about a terrible smell coming from his farmland.
Reports say even though some members of the community marched the suspect to the farm on Tuesday, March 10, they could not find the body of the deceased after digging a trench that was initially dug by the suspect.
However, the residents reported the matter to the police after sighting some clots of blood in the area that was dug.
Upon further interrogation, the suspect confessed to the police and led a team of officers to where he had kept the body of the deceased.
The remains of the unidentified woman had her head, both legs and womanhood mutilated.
