One of Ghana’s most controversial evangelist and ex-fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been released from prison.
She spent eight months in the Nsawam Prison after serving eight months in custody.
Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment on July 3, 2025, after being convicted of defrauding by false pretence.
Her lawyers challenged the ruling, saying the sentence was excessive.
Upon review of the case, the Amasaman High Court reduced the term to 12 months, saying the original sentence was harsh.
She has since been released. Her husband, Asiamah, confirmed in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, that she has returned home, saying “Thank God my wife is finally home.”
