A fatal accident on the Tatale–Zabzugu road on Friday night, October 24, has claimed three lives and left more than ten others injured.
Reports indicate that the crash occurred when a Kia truck with registration number GW-5828-17, transporting traders returning from the Kukpalgu market, collided with a stationary Motorking tricycle that had broken down and been left on the road.

Eyewitnesses said the driver of the Kia truck lost visibility due to the bright headlights of an oncoming vehicle from the Zabzugu direction, leading to the collision.
Two victims died on the spot, while a third person was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Tatale District Hospital. More than ten others who sustained various injuries are currently receiving treatment at the same facility.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the hospital morgue.
