Comedian DeeOne Completes 52-Hour Stand-Up Marathon for World Record Attempt

Outspoken comedian and former reality TV star DeeOne has successfully concluded his attempt for the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.

The grueling 52-hour comedy marathon began at midnight on October 2, 2025, and wrapped up triumphantly on the evening of Saturday, October 4, 2025.

The event, held at Pallazzo in Ikeja, Lagos, drew a significant and enthusiastic turnout of supporters, fans, and industry colleagues who rallied behind the comedian throughout the extended attempt. DeeOne kept the audience engaged for more than two days as he worked to secure a spot in the record books.

Speaking shortly after concluding the marathon, DeeOne shared that his primary motivation for undertaking the monumental task was to inspire young Nigerians and dreamers everywhere.

“No goal is too high to achieve,” he stated, emphasizing the message of perseverance and limitless ambition.

The record attempt has now been officially submitted to the Guinness World Records organization for verification, marking the start of the waiting period before the performance is confirmed as the new world standard.
