President Bio Commends Sierra Leone’s Military Officers At Decoration Ceremony in Freetown

A decoration ceremony was held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at State House in Freetown to honor the newly promoted General Ranking Officers of the Armed Forces of Sierra Leone.

 

 

President Julius Maada Bio congratulated the officers, commending their dedication and service.

 

“Your dedication and hard work have led you to this achievement, and I commend you for your success,” President Bio said.

 

“As your Commander-in-Chief, I will always stand by you as you embrace your new responsibilities with pride and determination. Congratulations on your well-deserved promotions,” he added.
