Nigerian Soldier and Peacemaker Launches New Song “Peacemaker”

Peacemaker Azuegbulam, a Nigerian soldier and gold medalist at the 2023 Invictus Games, is making headlines again—not for his prowess in powerlifting, but for his inspiring new song, “Peacemaker.” This track is part of his upcoming two-track EP and serves as a testament to his resilience and dedication to uplifting others.

Peacemaker’s journey is one of courage and determination. In 2019, he suffered a life-changing injury while battling Boko Haram insurgents in Maiduguri, resulting in the loss of his left leg. However, he refused to let this setback define him. His participation in the Invictus Games—an international sporting event for wounded, injured, and sick service personnel—became a transformative experience, leading him to victory in the 69kg powerlifting category and making him the first Nigerian and African gold medalist in the competition’s history.

Now, Peacemaker is using his voice to spread a message of hope, strength, and perseverance. His latest single, Peacemaker, reflects his personal journey and aims to inspire wounded servicemen, civilians, and anyone facing adversity.

“I am thrilled to share my music with the world,” said Peacemaker. “My journey has taught me the importance of resilience, determination, and the power of the human spirit. I hope my story and music will inspire others to overcome their own challenges.”

Peacemaker’s story continues to be an inspiration—not just on the battlefield or the sports arena, but now through his music. His upcoming EP promises to be an anthem of survival and strength, proving that even in the face of hardship, one can rise again.
