One of 2025’s most exciting collaborations is officially on the way! Craig David has confirmed the release date for his upcoming single “Commitment”, featuring Nigerian Afrobeats powerhouse Tiwa Savage. The track is set to drop on February 26, 2025.
Last month, Tiwa Savage teased a snippet of the song during an Instagram Live session, calling the collaboration a “dream come true.” “I’ve been a huge fan of Craig for years, and working with him has been such an amazing experience. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Craig David echoed the excitement in an interview with The Sun UK, admitting he wasn’t sure if Tiwa would accept the collaboration. “Tiwa is an incredible artist. When I finished ‘Commitment,’ I felt like the song needed her. It’s an Afrobeats type of song, and that’s her world—she lives, eats, and breathes it,” he shared. “I gave her the freedom to do her own thing, and when she sent her verse back, I knew—this is the one.”
Blending nostalgic R&B elements with contemporary Afrobeats influences, “Commitment” is expected to resonate with both longtime fans and new listeners. With two global icons joining forces, this release is one to watch!
