In a groundbreaking victory, 34-year-old flight attendant Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique has been crowned Miss France 2025, defying traditional beauty standards. This triumph marks a significant milestone, as Angarni-Filopon is the oldest contestant to ever win the title.

The rules change in 2022 allowed women over 24, married women and mothers to participate. Angarni-Filopon’s win challenges conventional notions of female beauty, inspiring countless women.

“I represent Martinique, its diaspora and all women told it’s too late,” she said, accepting the award in Poitiers.
