A good number of A-list global and Bollywood stars are attending the extravagant wedding festivities of Indian heir, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, pharmaceutical heiress and daughter of India’s billionaire pharmaceutical businessman. The billionaire couple’s wedding is widely described as the wedding of the year, 2024, featuring a starry-guest list ranging from top politicians, business tycoons and celebrities from around the globe.
After about seven months of extravagant pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest and the world’s 9th billionaire, Mukesh Ambani, married Merchant on Friday, July 12, 2024. Mukesh Ambani is the Chairman of Reliance Industries, one of India’s biggest industrial conglomerates.
Celebrities attending the festivities include American reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, John Cena, Ranbir Kapoor, actress Alia Bhatt, Disha Patani, Suhana Khan, and Aishwarya Rai.
The wedding festivities are set to continue through this weekend at the Ambani’s family 27-story Mumbai residence, Antilia.
Today, a “Shubh Ashirwad” or divine blessings ceremony is being organized for the couple. On Sunday, a reception with an “Indian chic” dress code is expected to be held, to wrap up the festivities.
The billionaire couple’s July 5, 2024 sangeet ceremony had a concert by Justin Bieber. Tech billionaire and Facebook co-founder, Mark Zuckerberg and Karlie Kloss attended their hastakshar in March.
