Nigerian teenage artist Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke has made history by securing a Guinness World Record for creating the largest art canvas. The remarkable achievement was celebrated at a special certificate presentation ceremony attended by dignitaries from the United Nations and the Guinness World Record Organisation.
Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, praised the 15-year-old’s accomplishment, calling it a beacon of inspiration for young creatives and individuals with autism worldwide. His record-breaking artwork, titled Impossible is a Myth, not only showcases artistic excellence but also underscores the importance of inclusivity in the creative space.
This milestone highlights Nigeria’s growing recognition of diverse artistic talents beyond its dominant music and film industries. Kanyeyachukwu’s success serves as a powerful reminder that creativity knows no boundaries and that every talent, regardless of background or ability, deserves a platform to shine.
