Award-winning rapper Phyno has officially announced the return of his highly anticipated Phyno Fest concert to Enugu in November 2025. The confirmation came during his recent courtesy visit to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, where he praised the governor’s strides in transforming the state.
“The state governor is doing an amazing job. Everywhere looks so different, and I’m proud of him,” Phyno stated during the visit.
Phyno Fest: A Celebration of Igbo Culture and Music
Known for his unique Igbo rap style, Phyno has built Phyno Fest into one of Nigeria’s biggest music festivals. Over the years, the event has consistently sold out the 60,000-capacity Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, attracting fans from across the country.
Governor Peter Mbah pledged full support for the upcoming festival, highlighting the government’s dedication to promoting local talent and showcasing Enugu’s rich culture.
“I had the pleasure of receiving our very own Chibuzor Azubuike @phynofino. We had a fruitful discussion about his upcoming music concert, Phyno Fest, in Enugu later in November this year,” the governor stated.
“As a government, we are dedicated to supporting and promoting talents that celebrate our culture and position Enugu State on the global stage. In line with this commitment, we will fully support Phyno to ensure the success of this much-anticipated event.”
