NBA YoungBoy is gearing up to drop a new album, More Leaks, ahead of his highly anticipated release from prison. The rapper’s team confirmed the project’s arrival via his company’s Instagram page, announcing that it will be released on March 7, with the first single dropping this Friday, February 28.
“Last project before TOP is back,” the post read, signaling YoungBoy’s imminent return. The album’s title suggests it will feature previously unreleased tracks that have surfaced online over time. This release follows December 2024’s I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders, marking another milestone in the rapper’s prolific catalog.
YoungBoy is set to be released from prison on July 27 after accepting a plea deal related to gun possession and prescription medication fraud charges. Originally sentenced to 23 months in prison, five years of probation, and a $200,000 fine, his sentence was later amended to credit time served up until May 2024, allowing him to regain his freedom this summer.
During sentencing, Judge Spencer Walsh acknowledged YoungBoy’s potential, stating:
“I don’t want you to be robbed of your talent due to addiction. You have a bright future ahead, and I hope you reach your full potential in every aspect of your life. Best of luck to you, Mr. Gaulden.”
With More Leaks dropping soon and his release date approaching, NBA YoungBoy’s return to the rap game is inevitable. Fans are now eagerly awaiting what’s next as the controversial yet prolific artist prepares for a new chapter in his career.
