Some 50 persons are contracting HIV infections on a daily basis in Ghana, the Ghana AIDS Commission has reported.
The Director General of the Ghana AIDS Commission, Dr. Kyeremeh Atuahene, who made this known said majority of the people contracting HIV constitute the economically active population.
He stated that majority of the HIV infections are being recorded among persons aged 15 to 49 years.
