Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, has met with the Ghana Black Stars ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic (CAR).

 

The Black Stars are facing CAR tonight, June 10, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

They are going into the match after their crucial 2 – 1 away win over West African rivals, Mali in Bamako on Thursday, June 6.

Dr. Bawumia met with the team in Kumasi. He is in the Ashanti Region on his presidential campaign tour of the Region. He began Day 1 of his Ashanti Region tour today, June 10.
