At least 13 people, including three children have lost their lives in two separate car accidents in South Africa.
One of the crashes involved a truck and a taxi transporting teachers in South Africa. About 10 of the deceased are teachers. A report by IOL said the accident occurred in Limpopo in the early hours of Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Africa Publicity understands that the car crash was caused by an alleged reckless driving on the part of the truck driver.
Every passenger involved in the crash lost their life.
The “reckless driver” was reportedly on the wrong side of the road.
Meanwhile, Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani has visited the accident scene and called on all motorists to take extra precautions as they travel, especially during the early hours of the morning.
In a related development, another accident occurred in Meyerton, Gauteng. That incident involved a crash between two cash-in-transit vehicles, a minibus, and a sedan, resulting in the deaths of three children and injuring ten others.
