Medikal has put my life in danger with his lies – Fella Tells Police

Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui of YOLO fame, has revealed why she reported her estranged husband and daughter’s father, musician Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal, to the Police.

It would be recalled that in March this year, Medikal went public as he opened up about his marital challenges with Fella, announcing at the time they had ended their relationship and moved forward as co-parents to their young daughter, Island Frimpong.

Medikal had claimed in a number of social media posts that he was no longer safe in his own home.

And on the 18th of May, the popular Ghanaian singer,

Medikal shared a video online, alleging that Fella had called for his arrest, exposing her ‘plan to incriminate him and take over his house.’

His accusations have set Fella up for numerous attacks from his fans online.

And Fella has in a statement, finally set the records straight over why she had to report him to the police.

In her statement, Fella described Medikal’s claims online as the “publication of false news, which is in violation of Section 208 of the Criminal Code of 1960, Act 29.”

Urging the police to investigate rapper Medikal, the actress said “the publications made by Mr. Samuel Adu Frimpong, a musician popularly known as Medikal, have put my life in imminent danger”.

According to Fella, Medikal “not only falsely claimed on social media that his life is in danger and attributed any potential harm to the residents of his house, but he has also made subsequent publications that cast serious innuendos about my personality.”

She bemoaned that “As a well-known female actress and public figure in Ghana, I am now facing severe threats to my life due to these false claims made by Mr. Samuel Adu Frimpong”.
