Kizinfinity has been crowned Best Afro Latin Club of the Year 2026 at the prestigious Ghana Dance Industry Awards on Sunday, April 19.
The annual awards celebrate excellence and innovation in Ghana’s dance community, making this recognition a significant milestone for the club.
Founded in 2017, Kizinfinity has become a hub for Afrolatin dance styles, including Kizomba, Semba, Kompa, and other related genres.
Known for its versatility and inclusivity, the club has built a vibrant community of social dancers, promoting healthy lifestyles and cultural exchange.
Over the years, Kizinfinity has successfully organized three international festivals, themed Night With the KizStars (NWK), attracting visitors from across the globe. These festivals have significantly enhanced Ghana’s cultural visibility, promoted cultural exchange, and reinforced the country’s reputation for hosting best in class international dance events.
Beyond dance, Kizinfinity has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and social impact. In the past year, it donated medical equipment worth over GHS 20,000 to the Adabraka Polyclinic and provided hot meals to more than 1,000 children in Jamestown and surrounding communities, alongside other philanthropic initiatives aimed at supporting underprivileged individuals and persons with special needs.
Club president Samuel Bammy Sowah expressed gratitude to the Ghana Dance Industry Awards for the recognition saying, “Kizinfinity extends heartfelt appreciation to the Ghana Dance Industry Awards for recognizing the club with this prestigious award. Looking ahead, Kizinfinity is preparing for its 10th anniversary next year, which will coincide with Ghana’s 70th Independence celebration. Plans are underway for a landmark international festival featuring top Afrolatin stars, with details to be announced soon.
