A footballer playing in the Ghana Premier League, Dominic Frimpong, has been killed by alleged armed robbers who reportedly attacked the team’s bus.
The attack, carried out by masked men, happened when Frimpong and his Berekum Chelsea teammates were returning from Samreboi. The Berekum Chelsea team was attacked by armed robbers on their way back from an away league match against FC Samartex.
He sustained gunshot wounds and later died in a hospital.
