The US Department of Justice has threatened to prosecute trade in sanctioned Iranian oil.
Acting US Attorney-General, Todd Blanche, wrote on X that “The Department of Justice will vigorously prosecute anyone who buys or sells sanctioned Iranian oil.”
Blanche says the Justice Department fully supports US President Donald Trump and the US military.
