The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has handed over 2000 motorcycles to his country’s national police.

The handing over ceremony took place in the national capital Ouagadougou on Monday morning, February 2, 2026.

These bikes will help reduce response times and make crime zones more accessible to security forces. This acquisition is a materialization of the vision of the President of Faso, who has the safety of the population at its heart”, the presidency of Burkina Faso said.
