Alassane Ouattara has been sworn-in to officially begin his fourth term of office as President of Côte d’Ivoire.
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday, December 8, 2025 in Abidjan.

Attending the ceremony were Presidents of other African nations including Ghanaian leader, John Dramani Mahama, Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio, Liberia’s President, Joseph Nyuma Boakai, and President of Angola, João Lourenço.

Ouattara won Ivory Coast’s October 25, 2025 presidential election, securing 89.77 percent of the votes cast.
