Kenyan President William Ruto today handed over keys to the new owners of the 220-unit Elburgon Affordable Housing Estate in Molo, Nakuru County of Kenya, marking a milestone in the government’s affordable housing programme.

Speaking during the event, President Ruto said the project represents a vision of modern and inclusive development.

In a post on his official Facebook page after the handing over ceremony, President Ruto says “Handed over keys to the proud owners of the 220-unit Elburgon Affordable Housing Estate in Molo, Nakuru County, a model of modern, decent, and affordable living made possible through our transformative housing programme.”

He described the project as more than just a housing development, emphasizing its deeper meaning for Kenyans.

“The project not only provides homes but also symbolizes hope, opportunity, and renewed faith in the promise of Kenya,” he stated.
President Ruto reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that every Kenyan has access to decent housing.

“Further, it is a step in our mission to ensure that every Kenyan, regardless of income or background, can enjoy the security and pride of owning a home,” he said.

The handover marks another step in the government’s ongoing efforts to expand affordable housing and promote home ownership across the country.
