Reality TV star and entrepreneur Tacha has successfully completed her attempt to secure the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers performed in 24 hours, finishing with a total of 145 makeovers.
The ambitious, record-breaking event, which was part of the Tacha Beauty Festival, took place at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos. The event drew celebrity support, including appearances from Alex Unusual, Toke Makinwa, Ice Prince, and the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Idris Aregbe.
Resilience Amidst Challenges
Despite facing technical issues, notably a power outage, Tacha demonstrated remarkable resilience and speed. She managed to transform 145 models, who represented diverse skin tones and body types, throughout the 24-hour period.
Each model’s transformation was professionally documented with headshots and runway showcases.
Awaiting Official Confirmation
Tacha, who gained fame after participating in Big Brother Naija Season 4, is now awaiting official verification from Guinness World Records before she can be officially declared the record holder.
She previously stated that her record-breaking ambition was driven by a desire to celebrate creativity, consistency, and the strength of Nigerian women within the global beauty industry.
