Anger over the alleged death of a suspect in police custody has apparently pushed some Ghanaian youth to burn th Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Local media reports say a suspect allegedly died while in police custody at Kukurantumi, a town in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region,
In response, angry youth stormed the Kukurantumi Police Station and set it on fire, reports say.
The death of the suspect has sparked widespread outrage among residents, who are demanding answers from the police over the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s death.
