Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a significant setback as attackers Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué are set to miss over a month of action due to injuries sustained while on international duty with France.

Dembélé suffered a severe right hamstring injury and is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks. Doué, on the other hand, picked up a right calf strain and is expected to be out for around four weeks.

Both players sustained their injuries during France’s 2-0 victory over Ukraine on September 5, 2025, in a Group D World Cup qualifier.

As a result, they will miss several key fixtures for PSG, including matches against Atalanta, Marseille, and potentially the UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona, scheduled for 25 days from now.

French outlet L’Équipe reported that PSG officials were frustrated with the France national team staff, claiming the club had advised caution with Dembélé prior to the match.

Neither Dembélé nor Doué will be available for France’s upcoming fixture against Iceland on September 9.
