Chief of Staff Julius Debrah to Keynote Mining & Minerals Convention 2025 in Accra

The Office of the Chief of Staff has announced that Honourable Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, will deliver the Keynote Opening Address at the Mining & Minerals Convention 2025, set for August 26–27, 2025, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra. As Special Guest of Honour, Debrah will set the stage for the event, themed “Shaping the Future of Ghana’s Gold Industry,” emphasizing the government’s commitment to responsible mining, sustainability, local value retention, and establishing Ghana as Africa’s premier gold hub.

The two-day convention, Ghana’s leading platform for the gold and minerals sector, unites government officials, regulators, industry leaders, investors, and innovators to align policies, finance, and sustainability within Ghana’s gold value chain. Other confirmed speakers include:

  • Hon. Armah Kofi Buah, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, delivering Ministerial Remarks and the Closing Address.

  • Mr. Martin Kwaku Ayisi, CEO of the Minerals Commission, providing updates on regulations and sector governance.
