On July 30, 2025, the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) and the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at GNCCI’s Accra headquarters, marking a significant step toward enhancing business networks and driving economic growth across Africa. The partnership focuses on collaboration for the fourth Africa Prosperity Dialogues, set for February 4–6, 2026, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
“This partnership with GNCCI represents a pivotal moment in our mission to foster sustainable prosperity across Africa,” said Sidig Eltoum, APN CEO. “GNCCI’s extensive network, deep understanding of Ghana’s commercial landscape, and commitment to business development make them an ideal partner as we convene key decision-makers from across the continent.”
The Africa Prosperity Dialogues, themed “Empowering SMEs, Women, and Youth to drive inclusive growth and trade across Africa’s single market,” is an annual platform uniting business and political leaders to strategize on sustainable economic development. The 2026 edition aims to be the most impactful yet, addressing critical challenges and opportunities for Africa’s economic future.
Under the MoU:
-
APN will recognize GNCCI as an institutional partner, granting executive access to APN events locally and globally, and leverage its network to support Ghanaian commerce and industry through GNCCI initiatives.
-
GNCCI will provide technical expertise on commerce, industry, and trade, assist with fundraising and resource mobilization, support marketing and PR efforts, and facilitate connections with relevant enterprises in and beyond Ghana.
“We are delighted to partner with APN in this transformative initiative,” said Stephane Miezan, GNCCI President. “The Africa Prosperity Dialogues align perfectly with our mission to promote and protect commercial and industrial interests in Ghana. We must pool all our efforts to ensure our collective voice is heard.”
Dr. Mrs. Emelia Assiakwa, GNCCI First Vice President, emphasized, “This partnership is timely, particularly for empowering youth and women; this is the direction we must take. Through our Women and Youth Wing, we seek to build capacity, secure funding, and grant access to markets for these vital groups.”
The collaboration includes co-organizing the 2026 Dialogues, knowledge sharing, strategic media engagement, and networking opportunities, benefiting both organizations’ stakeholders. Both APN and GNCCI recognize Ghana’s pivotal role in continental prosperity and the Dialogues’ potential to strengthen intra-African trade and investment.
