The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is in Ghana on a two-day state visit.
Mr. Modi arrived in Accra, the capital of Ghana on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, received Mr. Modi upon arrival.
Mr. Modi’s two-day official visit marks the first time in 30 years that an Indian Prime Minister is visiting Ghana.
According to Mr. Mahama, he and PM Modi “are looking forward to very productive bilateral engagements on various areas of cooperation between our two countries.”
