Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has been crowned the 2024/25 Premier League Young Player of the Season, earning widespread recognition for his pivotal role in Liverpool’s title-winning campaign.
At just 23 years old, Gravenberch emerged as one of the league’s standout midfielders. He ranked second in total passes and third in duels won, tackles made, and minutes played, while also contributing four assists, underscoring his all-round influence on the pitch.
Gravenberch’s award was decided through a combination of public votes and input from a panel of football experts, identifying him as the best player who began the season aged 23 or younger.
He triumphed over a competitive shortlist that included Liam Delap, Anthony Elanga, Dean Huijsen, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers, and William Saliba.
Gravenberch becomes only the second Liverpool player to receive the accolade since its inception in the 2019/20 season, following Trent Alexander-Arnold.
His recognition caps off a phenomenal season for both the player and Liverpool, as they clinched the Premier League title in dominant fashion.
