Solar Panel Structure Collapses at Ghana’s A&C Mall, Damaging Over 80 Vehicles

A severe weather incident occurred at the A&C Mall in East Legon, resulting in the collapse of a solar panel structure in the parking area. The incident, which happened during heavy rains, caused significant damage to over 80 vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

In an official statement, A&C Development attributed the collapse to adverse weather conditions and assured the public that immediate measures are being taken to address the situation. “Our team, along with the relevant authorities, is on-site to manage the situation and ensure a swift resolution,” the statement read.

Management expressed regret over the incident and reassured patrons of their commitment to resolving the issue swiftly. “Your safety remains our top priority,” they emphasized, promising regular updates as they work to address the aftermath.
