Renowned gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have brought joy and hope to the Rumudara community in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, through a generous outreach initiative.
On December 30, 2024, the couple’s ‘Mercy Is Blessed Foundation’ distributed essential items to residents, ensuring they experienced the warmth and love of the festive season. Beneficiaries received items such as bags of rice, garri, cartons of tomato paste, tubers of yam, clothing materials, and cash gifts.
The act of kindness targeted the elderly, single mothers, and disadvantaged members of the community. Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa emphasized the Christian foundation of their gesture, stating that giving is the DNA of love, as exemplified by John 3:16.
