“This song is not a hit yet” – Fameye Believes “Very Soon” Has More Potential Than Current Success

Ghanaian music sensation Peter Famiyeh Bozah, professionally known as Fameye, has expressed strong confidence in the potential of his latest track, “Very Soon.”

Despite the song currently trending on TikTok and inspiring various dance challenges, Fameye believes that its true success is yet to come.

In a recent interview on Showbiz 360 with Giovani Caleb over the weekend, the crooner stated, “This song is not a hit yet, not at all. Those creating lyrics and content with it are doing what they like; they should relax.” He conveyed his appreciation for the song’s reception, adding, “I love the way it is going.”

The award-winning artist went on to share insights into the creative process behind “Very Soon,” noting that he was in a “special moment” during its recording. The inspiration struck him while he was in Atlanta, where he had a chance meeting with producer Willis Beatz. He recalled that Willis had sent him the beat six months prior, but it hadn’t received much attention until they met. “Then he played the beats… because it was a special one,” Fameye explained.

The song’s lyrics flowed naturally for Fameye during this session. “I didn’t even write the song,” he revealed. “So, after 8 bars, I stopped recording and told Willis this song is a hit, so I will continue the rest in a studio. I knew the potential of the song.”

“Very Soon” was officially released on September 11, coinciding with Fameye’s 30th birthday, and its buzz continues to grow, suggesting that it could indeed become a major hit in the near future.

With his optimistic outlook and a clear vision for the track, Fameye is setting the stage for what he believes will be a significant moment in his musical journey.
