Tiwa Savage Congratulates Asake for making history at London O2 Arena Concert

Africa’s Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, is super proud of Nigerian singer, Ahmed Oloade, popularly known as Asake, and his team for organizing a successful show at the London O2 Arena.

 

 

Asake has been hailed widely for sold out London O2 Arena concert, an event that further cemented Nigeria’s position as the leader in exporting African music to the rest of the world.

 

 

And Tiwa, the ‘Somebody Son’ hitmaker can’t help but heap praises on Asake and his team for a job well-done.

 

 

She took to her verified Instagram handle to congratulate Asake and his team, describing him as “a great guy.”

 

 

“Congratulations to you and your team,” Tiwa told Asake, sharing a red heart emoji alongside her post to apparently express her love for the work put into making the concert in London a success.

 

 

On Sunday night, August 20, Asake made history when he sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena. Previously, Nigerian musicians Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy had sold out concerts at the O2 Arena.

 

 

Asake’s concert saw performances from his YBNL Record Label mate, Fireboy DML, Lil Kesh and several other musicians.
