Joe Ghartey and Efua Ghartey
32 years ago, on September 19th, 1992, Rt Rev Professor Emeritus Kwesi A Dickson led his daughter down the aisle at Calvary Methodist Church in Adabraka Accra. From that day, Efua Dickson became Efua Ghartey. Over the years, she has been my strength; with a heart of gold, a spine of steel, and a gentle disposition.
A daughter of the Manse and former Chairperson of the United Bible Societies Worldwide, she has never forgotten our Lord. She was my President, as President of the Greater Accra Branch of the Ghana Bar Association, for six years. Today, she is the President of the Ghana Bar Association. What can I say except that God makes all things beautiful in His time. That is the song Efua sang 32 years ago.
The past 32 years have been wonderful. Congratulations, Madam President! Anything for the boys?
