The civil suit filed against Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has been adjourned by the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Life Camp, Abuja, until November 26, 2025.
The case stems from an assault and battery claim brought against the artist by musician and photographer Levi Ogbogiri, who goes by the stage name Kraziecent.
Court Proceedings and Adjournment
Justice J.O.E. Adeyemi-Ajayi set the new date after hearing submissions from both legal representatives. The claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, informed the court that Odumodublvck had been served with all relevant documents but had not yet responded to the suit.
In light of this, the defendant’s counsel, Sheriff Bello, requested additional time to properly prepare his defense, a request which the court granted, leading to the adjournment.
Details of the Allegations
The case originates from an alleged altercation on December 16, 2024, during a public event. Kraziecent alleges that the rapper attacked him without provocation while he was recording videos.
According to court documents, the alleged incident resulted in bodily injuries, emotional distress, and damage to the claimant’s iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Kraziecent is seeking several forms of relief from the court:
- Compensation for medical bills, emotional suffering, and the cost of his damaged phone.
- A public apology from Odumodublvck to be published across social media and national newspapers.
- A perpetual injunction restraining the rapper and his associates from any further harassment or intimidation.
Neither Odumodublvck nor his legal team has publicly commented on the civil suit as it heads toward the next hearing date in late November.
