The brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of physically assaulting her.
This comes after a viral video surfaced showing Regina Daniels in tears, alleging that her husband sent thugs to harass her following a domestic dispute. The video, which circulated widely on social media, sparked outrage among fans and renewed discussions about the actress’s marriage to the Delta North senator.
In an emotional post shared on his Instagram page, Regina’s brother claimed that Nwoko had beaten the actress and smashed her head against a wall before leaving the scene. He wrote that if he had met Nwoko that day, he would have retaliated violently.
“You are lucky you ran after beating my sister and smashing her head on the wall. I would have burst your jaw,” he wrote.
He went on to express deep frustration, stating that the incident had brought shame and ridicule upon his sister, who, he said, is now being mocked for marrying a man much older than herself.
The post has drawn massive reactions online, with many social media users expressing concern for Regina Daniels’ safety and calling for an investigation into the allegations.
As of now, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko has issued an official statement regarding the incident.
