Jamaican reggae artist Kenyatta Hill has set his sights on a major collaboration with one of Ghana’s top reggae/dancehall stars. The son of reggae legend Joseph Hill (Culture) revealed his plans during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Mauvie Hayford, expressing his interest in working with either Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy.
“Well, my next project definitely will be featuring more likely Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy,” Kenyatta disclosed, sparking excitement among reggae and dancehall fans.
Before this highly anticipated collaboration materializes, Kenyatta Hill is set to perform at the Kuchoko Roots Festival on March 8, 2025, at La Pleasure Beach in Accra. Organized by Blakk Rasta, the event will also feature Jamaican reggae stars George Nooks and Duane Stephenson, alongside a powerful lineup of Ghanaian artists, including Knii Lante, Osagyefo, Konkarah Jahvybz, Ton A Hope, JahWi, Aklerh, Daddy Bosco, and Appiah Levi. Burkina Faso will also be represented by ZMo, Ras Simposh, and Ima Hado.
Hosted by renowned reggae personality King Lagazee, the festival promises an electrifying night of roots and reggae music, further strengthening the cultural connection between Ghana and Jamaica. Fans now eagerly await confirmation of whether Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy will be part of Kenyatta Hill’s next big project.
