A 34-year-old mother of three from Britain and bride-to-be, Sophie Runkee, has choked to death while on holidays with her family just six weeks before her wedding day.
She was found dead by her 14-year-old daughter during their ‘memory-making’ trip to Turkey ahead of her fiance’s cancer treatment.
According to local media reports, Sophie and her fiance Jj Warner, from Hull, had taken their three children – including their 11-week-old son – on a summer holiday to Turkey before Jj starts his treatment for skin cancer.
Reports say the holiday was meant to give the young children the chance to create some happy memories together following Jj’s devastating cancer diagnosis, but their ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ trip became a nightmare after Sophie’s lifeless body was found on the balcony of their hotel apartment.
It has been reported that Sophie, who did not have any travel insurance, had fallen unconscious after a night out and choked to death on her vomit.
Sophie and Jj had been enjoying the last-minute holiday with kids Alicia, 14, Tommy, nine, and baby Luca, but on July 11 Sophie and Alicia went out for some mother and daughter time, spending all night dancing together in the local bars while Ji stayed in with the boys, according to reports.
