The government of Ghana has announced a 30 percent reduction in the application fee of the Ghanaian Passport.
Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, made the announcement in a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday evening, November 9, 2025.
According to him, the passport application fee has been reduced from Ghc 500 to Ghc 150.
He announced that the “New Passport Application Fee of GHS350 (a 30% reduction) comes into effect this Thursday, November 13, 2025.”
