Ghana is scheduled to begin its 2024 school selection process for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates from August 28 to September 4.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) announced this in a statement signed by its Acting Director of Schools and Instruction Division, Prince C. Agyemang-Duah.
In the statement urged parents and guardians to be actively involved in the school selection process to ensure a smooth placement process in 2024.
According to the statement, candidates will have the opportunity to confirm their school choices by texting a short code before the final payment is conducted, saying details regarding the short code will be provided in due course.
The announcement by GES comes after the end of the 2024 BECE, which saw 570,461 candidates participating between July 8 and 15 across the country.
