Echo Deep Gears Up for the Release of His Fourth Studio Album, Music In My Life

Renowned South African DJ and producer Echo Deep, born Tshepo Molefe, is set to release his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Music In My Life, on January 24. This album showcases his signature fusion of house music with jazzy elements and African percussion, embodying tranquillity and a deep personal connection to his craft.

Reflecting on the universal impact of music, Echo Deep shared, “Music, it’s a part of everyone’s life. From childhood sing-along songs to house music and everything in between, music is everywhere.” His upbringing in a musically vibrant environment shaped his identity and paved the way for his illustrious career.

Music In My Life promises a transformative listening experience, blending complex rhythms, melodious arrangements, and Echo Deep’s expert mixing skills. The album caters to longtime fans while inviting new listeners into his evolving soundscape.

Echo Deep’s journey began at just 18 when he made waves in the dance music scene with his debut album, House Afrika Mixtape 1. Subsequent projects like The Music City and The Music City (Unmixed), released under labels like House Afrika Records and Motherland Distribution, solidified his reputation. These albums featured collaborations with artists such as Merldy B and Maya Spector, further enhancing his discography.

Beyond the studio, Echo Deep has captivated audiences at iconic venues, sharing stages with legends like Black Coffee and Lady Zamar. His international presence has grown through residencies and radio shows, notably with Drums Radio in the UK.

While Echo Deep initially pursued electrical engineering at South West Gauteng College, his passion for music redirected his path. “I lacked passion for it,” he admitted, highlighting his decision to embrace his creative calling.

As the music industry evolves, Echo Deep adapts while staying true to his authentic sound. “Every day, there is new music and new sounds introduced. As a creative artist, you need to adapt with time,” he observed.

Despite the challenges of the music industry, Echo Deep’s resilience and consistency have cemented his status as a respected artist both locally and internationally. With Music In My Life, he invites fans to join him on a journey that celebrates the universal language of music.
