LAGOS, NIGERIA – Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has announced his highly anticipated ‘Morayo’ tour for 2025, bringing his electrifying performances to Europe. Fans in France, the Netherlands, and Germany can look forward to experiencing the magic of Wizkid live.
The tour will hit iconic venues, including the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin, Germany (May 21st), the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam, Netherlands (May 23rd), and the prestigious 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, France (May 25th).
The ‘Morayo’ tour follows the release of Wizkid’s sixth studio album of the same name in November 2024. The album features an impressive lineup of collaborations with Afrobeats sensation Asake, French hitmaker Tiakola, and American R&B stars Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz. Fans got a taste of the new music during Wizkid’s surprise appearances at concerts during the 2024 Detty December festive season.
Wizkid’s previous tours have been record-breaking, including a sold-out three-night run at London’s O2 Arena and a headline performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Adding to the excitement, Wizkid is also in contention for his second Grammy Award at the upcoming 67th ceremony. He’s nominated for Best African Music Performance for his contribution to Asake’s track “MMS.”
