Tottenham Appoint Thomas Frank as New Head Coach

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the appointment of Thomas Frank as their new head coach on June 12, 2025, following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou earlier that month. The announcement was made on the club’s official website. Postecoglou was dismissed despite leading Spurs to a Europa League final victory over Manchester United in Bilbao in May 2025, securing their first major trophy in 17 years and qualification for the 2025/26 Champions League.

Frank joins Tottenham after seven years at Brentford, where he guided the club from the Championship to the Premier League in 2021. Under his management, Brentford achieved 13th, 9th, 16th, and 10th-place finishes during their four Premier League seasons. His experience is expected to bolster Spurs, who struggled last season, finishing 17th in the Premier League with 22 losses in 38 matches, seven places below expectations.
