Multi-award-winning artist Sjava is set to take fans on a nostalgic journey with The 2018 Tour, a nationwide celebration of the music that made 2018 a breakthrough year for him. The tour announcement follows the recent release of his Inkanyezi Live EP and DVD, adding to the excitement for his loyal fanbase.
The tour will showcase songs from his acclaimed albums Umqhele and Umphako, which cemented his place in the industry. Fans can expect to hear classics like Ikhandlela, Linda, Izitha, and Abangani, which remain fan favorites to this day.
The tour kicks off on March 30 in Cape Town at the Green Point Salesians AFC and will travel across multiple cities:
- Durban – Playhouse Theatre (April 11 & 12)
- Pretoria – State Theatre (May 23 & 24)
- Bloemfontein – Sand Du Plessis Theatre (June 6)
- Johannesburg – Joburg Theatre (August 15 & 16)
- Emalahleni – @PlayTsogo Dome (September 20)
2018 was a milestone year for Sjava, seeing him win a BET Award and gain international recognition through his feature on the Black Panther soundtrack produced by Kendrick Lamar. His albums from that year became modern classics, making The 2018 Tour a highly anticipated event.
This tour follows the success of his Isibuko Tour and The 2016 Tour, both of which sold out in 2023 and 2024, proving his lasting impact in the industry.
