The President of Senegal, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, is in Rwanda on a three-day state visit.
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025, received Mr. Faye on the second day of his visit.
The two Heads of State held a tête-à-tête meeting to discuss key areas of ongoing bilateral cooperation between their two nations.
President Faye’s visit is part of a broader East Africa regional tour that includes Kenya.
Mr. Kagame and President Faye previously met on August 31 this year in Dakar during the Africa Food Systems Forum.
