US pop star and actress Selena Gomez has officially tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco, exchanging vows in a private ceremony in California.
The couple married in Santa Barbara on Saturday, September 27, 2025, just nine months after their engagement. Gomez, 33, shared the news with her fans by posting pictures to Instagram showcasing her elegant white halter-neck wedding gown alongside Blanco, 37, in a dark tuxedo, captioned simply with “9.27.25” and love hearts. Blanco confirmed the joyous occasion, commenting, “My wife in real life,” on her post.

Celebrity Guests and Intimate Vows
The wedding, reported by Vogue magazine, hosted around 170 guests. The star-studded attendees included some of the couple’s closest friends and collaborators, such as singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, actor Paul Rudd, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Gomez and Blanco first became engaged in December 2024 following a year of dating. Their relationship, which began after years of working together, has been openly chronicled through their music.
A History of Collaboration
Blanco has a storied history of producing major hits for artists like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Kesha, releasing his only solo studio album, Friends Keep Secrets, in 2018.
Gomez, who rose to fame on the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, is also a long-time musician and recently starred in the film Emilia Perez as Jessica Del Monte.
The newlyweds previously collaborated on popular tracks including “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness” (2015), and the 2019 song “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin. They further cemented their bond earlier this year with the release of their album, I Said I Love You First in March, which explores their own personal love story.
